We are Leo and Mi, two dancers from Leipzig / Germany. In 2021 we started to organize the „Somewhere Inbetween Jam". We are social active volunteers.Our goal is to organize an event that shares the love for dance and music with the knowledge of its cultural roots. Beside celebration we educate about the struggles of marginalized communities to improve communication, empathy and respect for cultural goods and their people. For that we provide dance and cultural awareness workshops, parties and more. The „Somewhere Inbetween Jam“ builds the urban dance scene and connects local and international BIPoC* and FLINTA* artists with the intention to increase the visibility of colored people and to grow newcomer dancers in East-Germany.
